The northern section of Waterlooville shopping centre this morning as the clouds started to gather.
This end of the pedestrianised area has been earmarked for beautification and the fountain has already been demolished. Next to go will be these steps and flower beds to be replaced with level paving and sitting areas. It should all help the flow up to the shops and pub at the far end as the pathway here has been restricted since the initial pedestrianisation about 30 years ago with the original width pavements from when the main London Rd passed through the town centre.
